From Austria to the Caribbean – delivering innovation to Barbados 🌍 Christof Industries has been entrusted by @barbadosportinc (BPI) with delivering a mobile incineration plant including a wet scrubber – a project realised by Christof Systems GmbH (CSG) together with our Italian partner. The plant is based on proven existing designs and adapted for shipment in 40' OT HC containers. For transport, the tested system was divided into three main skids – Incinerator-Skid, Post Combustion-Skid and Wet Scrubber-Skid – plus five smaller pallets with components dismantled for shipment. During our first on-site mission, our team focused on: • #Unloading the seaworthy packages from the sea containers • Safely #storing them in a locked warehouse in the port area • #Returning the empty containers to ensure smooth logistics This careful preparation ensures that, once the baseplate and steel structure for the canopy are in place, we can swiftly move ahead with #installation, #commissioning, and #training for future BPI operators – delivering a solution that supports sustainable waste management at the port of Bridgetown. What followed was a day full of #discovery, #excitement and hands-on #exploration. After a short introduction and a thorough #safety briefing, the children were eager to dive into our world. Faced with a last-minute project rescheduling and complex logistics, we mobilised around 50 specialists and completed a full-scale rotary kiln overhaul on time and to the highest standard. ⏱️⚙️ Over 5,000 working hours led to the successful replacement, repair, and renewal of critical plant components. From an 18-tonne heat exchanger to over 300 precision welds – every challenge was met with skill, dedication, and true team spirit. Service & electrical assembly supporting Europe's grid stability – ongoing projects at Christof Industries ⚡ Our teams are currently implementing a number of exciting new projects – combining technical excellence with strong regional presence to support the stability of Europe's energy networks. 🔌 Service Division ✅ Transformer installation in Austria We’ve kicked off our first transformer dismantling and reassembly project in Austria. This marks an important step as we expand our proven transformer assembly capabilities across borders. The aim: to increase efficiency and strengthen regional synergies for future service excellence. ✅ Grid filter implementation Another milestone: the successful order intake for a grid filter system. The scope includes the integration of large-scale components, including reactors, capacitors and resistor banks as well as the installation of high-voltage connections. 🔋 Electrical Assembly Division ✅ Static phase shifter in Germany This project plays a key role in enhancing grid stability. It involves the installation of a static phase shifter system including reactors, converters, battery units and extensive high-voltage cabling.
