Porsche Consulting collaborates with Amazon Web Services to help companies turn AI concepts into real business outcomes. In real-world business practice, a significant gap remains between what AI is capable of delivering and what is actually realized across many industries. Closing this gap requires not only the right technology, but well-defined business cases, redesigned processes, and organizational change. That is why Porsche Consulting collaborates with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a launch partner in the Business Consulting and Advisory Partner (BCAP) program. The BCAP program is designed to accelerate the adoption of AI capabilities by combining consulting expertise with specialist technology knowledge. In addition, it aims to lower the financial barriers for AI transformation programs through investments in client relationships by both partners. The focus is on identifying and realizing high-impact AI use cases, helping decision-makers move faster from ideas to measurable results. “AI only creates value when it is embedded in the core of the business. Our collaboration with AWS strengthens our position to successfully support clients from strategy to scalable execution,” says Marc Ziegler , Senior Partner and Lead Digital Transformation at Porsche Consulting. "The question is not whether these transitions will happen. It's whether Europe will shape them into its next competitive advantage." - said Giovanni Notarnicola , Partner Porsche Consulting, from the stage of SEMI Europe Industry Strategy Symposium. The keynote addresses the gap between ambition and execution in the three structural transitions reshaping semiconductor competitiveness across Europe. 🤖 Simulation is replacing the lab. Automotive-grade reliability requires up to 2.000 hours of zero-failure stress testing, and a single advanced-node iteration can cost tens of thousands of dollars per wafer: physics-based and AI-enabled simulation environments are becoming the new R&D engine. 💡 Autonomy is no longer a future state. 30% of Europe’s semiconductor workforce is expected to retire by 2030. Autonomous decision-making will become central to yield management, scheduling, and equipment optimization. Humanoids are key enablers, pushing the boundaries of what automation can achieve. 🔄 Ecosystem is the competitive advantage. The EU Chips Act is opening new space for Integrated Device Manufacturers, equipment makers, cloud and AI players, and research institutions to collaborate at a different level. Shared capabilities accelerate competition: no single company wins this alone. 👉 Interested in the potential of AI in semiconductor? Download the report we designed for SEMI https://lnkd.in/ezbPj_Br

Is the European semiconductor industry moving fast enough to lead the next decade? Porsche Consulting is proud to contribute to SEMI Industry Strategy Symposium Europe, the premier forum on semiconductor Industry, this year held in Poland on March 11th - 12th -13th The event brings together leading industry experts and microelectronics executives to shape the strategic agenda for a sector that, in the EU alone, is projected to grow to USD 217 billion by 2034, boosted by €86 billion in public and private investments mobilized by 2030 under the EU Chips Act to strengthen Europe’s position in the global supply chain. Giovanni Notarnicola , Partner Porsche Consulting, joins the Strategic R&D & Disruptive Manufacturing session with the keynote: "From Silicon to Simulation, From Automation to Autonomy" The industry is no longer rewarded for incremental gains, but it demands mastering three simultaneous transitions: - Predictive Virtualization, where physics-based models are displacing silicon as the primary R&D learning vehicle. - Manufacturing Autonomy, where the integration gap is the new competitive frontier. - Ecosystem Architecture, where geopolitical pressure is forcing an entirely new model of collaboration across IDMs, equipment makers, and governments. 🤍 Happy International Women’s Day! 🤍 2026 marks a special milestone. For 115 years, International Women’s Day has represented the global fight for women’s rights, visibility, and equal participation. To honor the occasion, we welcomed Dr. Alina Gales for an inspiring keynote. She leads the Diversity & Inclusion Office at the Technische Universität München and works closely with the Executive Board on advancing diversity strategy. In her research, she explores the mutual influence of technology and society in relation to gender, and specifically deals with privileges and discrimination in connection with AI. AI is neither neutral nor objective. It can reinforce inequalities, for example through biased hiring data, stereotypical representations of women in the media, or the absence of female and queer perspectives in training data. But AI can also uncover unfair patterns, support more diverse representation, and enable more transparent decisions. Bias in AI is not isolated but a structural issue throughout the data process. Technology reflects the people who develop and use it. That's why AI competence is important for everyone, from individuals to leaders to entire organizations. On International Women's Day, we can ask: What image of women do we want to see in this digital “mirror”? And what responsibility do we take to shape it? At Porsche Consulting, we regularly invite inspiring voices like Dr. Alina Gales to broaden our perspectives and strengthen our approach to Diversity, Equality & Inclusion. 👉 Find out more here: https://bit.ly/4b3Mjty #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2026 #DiversityAndInclusion #ResponsibleAI

How can companies align sustainability with innovation and business growth? 🌱 The consumer goods and industrial company Henkel shows how this balancing act can succeed. At Henkel, sustainability isn’t a side initiative – it’s fully embedded in the core business. That’s why Sylvie Nicol , Board Member responsible for HR, Infrastructure, and Sustainability, and her colleagues on the Management Board have firmly anchored sustainability in the company’s strategy. In an interview with Porsche Consulting Magazine, Nicol explains why transparency and measurable data are key to real progress: Only those who understand the footprint of their portfolio can steer effectively, drive change, and grow with the right partners across the entire value chain. She emphasizes that sustainability, profitability, and innovation are not adversaries. What matters is taking a holistic view of sustainability and embedding it across the entire organization. One example highlights this clearly: As a strong, highly recognized partner in the transformation of the automotive industry, Henkel develops innovative, thermally conductive adhesives that help prevent overheating in EV batteries. Nicol notes: “If you really see sustainability as an opportunity for transformation, for competition, for market positioning, to better oneself – then you will change direction.” Read the full interview in Porsche Consulting Magazine: https://lnkd.in/d8bQvdHH #Sustainability #Innovation #BusinessTransformation #SustainableGrowth #ESG

In volatile markets, safeguarding margins is essential – organizations often focus on revenue growth and cost reduction, but overlook one of the biggest silent profit killers: Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ). Every defect, every rework, every delay – and every customer complaint - comes with a price. In many underperforming organizations, these quality-related costs can consume a substantial share of sales revenue, especially in high-complexity, high-pressure industries like automotive and manufacturing. This isn’t just waste - it’s lost opportunity. To remain competitive, CoPQ must be elevated to a strategic KPI. Quality should be measurable, transparent, and actionable across the entire value chain – not only in production, but also in development, procurement, and service. The following key aspects help organizations move from complexity to clarity by achieving full visibility on the CoPQ: Define cost categories clearly ➡️ A standardized CoPQ framework creates transparency and enables cost optimization Integrate data & collaboration ➡️ A holistic, centralized Quality Management System (QMS) breaks down silos and ensures end-to-end visibility Track costs accurately ➡️ Driver tree methodology combined with defined cost positions enhances precision in identifying cost drivers Include customer feedback ➡️ Including customer feedback and complaints in CoPQ reports ensures long-term impact is addressed proactively Leverage digital technologies ➡️ Digital tools enable quality monitoring across suppliers and partners, strengthening the entire value chain The goal: turn quality into a value driver, not a cost center. #QualityManagement #CostOfPoorQuality #OperationalExcellence

Industrial manufacturers across Europe and beyond face mounting cost pressures from volatile energy markets, rising labor expenses, and tightening sustainability requirements. With material costs accounting for up to 50% of total spend, improving cost efficiency has become a strategic imperative. Many cost-out initiatives fail due to siloed organizations and a lack of cost transparency. Yet a structured, integrated approach can unlock substantial savings. By leveraging four key levers – process, design, contract, and strategy – companies can achieve both quick wins and long-term structural improvements, with savings potential of up to 20%. Treating cost-out not as a one-off exercise but as a strategic capability helps manufacturers boost resilience, secure competitiveness, and position themselves as market leaders in a challenging environment. ➡️ Read the full article “Product Cost-Out in Industrial Manufacturing“ at Porsche Consulting to explore the four-lever model and learn how to turn margin pressure into lasting advantage: https://lnkd.in/ewYVEt6K #IndustrialManufacturing #Product #Cost #ValueCreation #IndustrialGoods

Germany enables the market entry for bidirectional charging. 🔋⚡ With the German government removing the double grid-fee burden on bidirectional charging, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology is no longer a pilot topic but a viable market option. Porsche Consulting has identified the opportunities this decision unlocks across the mobility and energy ecosystem: ➡️ OEMs: Vehicle manufacturers with suitable models gain a tangible competitive advantage. New revenue fields emerge through battery data and energy services. At the same time, OEMs must take greater responsibility for battery insights, secure communication systems, and seamless user experiences as utilities and aggregators seek deeper integration. ➡️ Charging operators (CPO): For CPOs and hardware providers, bidirectional readiness becomes essential. Equipment must meet new communication and settlement requirements, and operators can evolve into flexibility providers for grid actors. Interoperability across OEMs and aggregators will be critical for scaling the market. ➡️ Grid operators and utilities: EV fleets provide a new source of distributed flexibility that can support grid stability. Distribution System Operators (DSO) need improved visibility and forecasting for low-voltage networks, while utilities must prepare for dynamic tariffs and emerging flexibility markets. Structured coordination with OEMs and CPOs will become increasingly important. ➡️ End users: Home energy systems gain higher economic value as bidirectional vehicles increase self-consumption and open access to flexibility revenues. Clear information on battery life and simple, intuitive user journeys will be decisive for adoption. Germany has removed a key economic barrier. V2G readiness is turning into strategic positioning for OEMs, CPOs, and utilities. The next two years will determine who captures the emerging value as interoperability, user experience, and cross-industry collaboration become the main drivers of success. #Charging #BidirectionalCharging #EnergyTransition #EV #ElectricVehicle #SmartCharging
